Shipping Information

At Dressing Your Truth we strive to offer the very best shipping service possible. We ship most of our packages via DHL Global Mail. Most orders placed within the United States will arrive within 4-7 days of the purchase date. For orders shipped outside of the United States please allow for up to 4 weeks.

Shipping and handling charges for our items are based upon shipping weight of each product and for delivery to your address zone as established by UPS and USPS Priority Mail. It should be noted that most orders take 1 to 2 business days to process through our system prior to notifying you of the shipping tracking numbers.

COVID-19 Shipping Updates:

All orders 

We ship daily from a small warehouse that is regularly disinfected. Due to shipping carriers, some delays may occur that are out of our control.

International Orders

We have resumed international shipping to most countries and we're excited to send your package to you.

Varied Covid responses across countries have affected shipping times, so please be aware that your package may experience customs delays that are longer than usual.

Returns

At Dressing Your Truth, we promise to do everything we can to make your shopping experience fun, comfortable, quick, and smooth. 

Makeup and hair care products may be returned or exchanged in their original packaging, unopened and unused, within 30 days of purchase. Jewelry, skincare, oils, books and courses may also be returned within 30 days. Shipping, insurance, and handling charges are not refundable.

 

In order to process your return quickly, please click this link for "Returns" and enter your Order # and email address. Upon contacting us with the necessary information, you will receive a return authorization number that must be clearly printed on the outside of the package and included with your returned items. Returned items without an authorization number will not be processed. We will refund the full purchase price of the item, excluding shipping, handling and insurance charges.

Once we have received your return and approved it, you will receive a confirmation email indicating the processed refund and credit deposited into your account.

Return Policy Terms and Conditions:

Refunds are only made back to the original payment method. Orders placed with gift cards only refund value to a gift card. Under no circumstances may Dressing Your Truth apply credit to another payment method other than the original. In no circumstances will cash be issued for online purchases.

Refund value is established according to original purchase price paid by the customer, not the greater or lesser value as marked online at the time of return.

The shipping value paid by the customer to ship the order to the customer’s address is not refundable, except as stated within Shipping Refunds.

Refunds are not credited until returned merchandise has been received and inspected for eligibility.

Refunds may take up to two billing cycles to show up on customer's credit card statement.

Gift Card Returns:

Gift cards are not eligible for return.

Shipping Charge Refunds:

Returned items determined to be damaged by the manufacturer or defective will be refunded to the customer for the purchase price and shipping costs of delivery charged to the customer. A credit of up to $6.55 will be issued to the customer in the form of a Dressing Your Truth store credit to compensate for costs of return shipping to Dressing Your Truth.

Refunds are not provided for shipping to the customer’s designated delivery address, except in the event of a Dressing Your Truth error, such as wrong item shipped, manufacturer defect, or wrong shipping address.

Dressing Your Truth will provide promotional shipping rates from time to time to reduce the cost of a purchase for customers. These shipping promotion values, whether express or any implied, are not eligible for a refund.

Damaged Product:

If you receive a product with a manufacturer's defect, we are sorry about that! Please email customer support at support@lythelp.com with a photo of the defect and they will be happy to assist you.

Subscription Cancelation and Refund Policy:

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. To do so, visit your account area. We do not refund for past months that you were subscribed, but we do stop all future monthly charges as soon as you cancel. If you contact our Support team within 30 days of beginning a monthly subscription, we will issue a full, one-time courtesy refund.

Canceling an annual membership in your account area will cancel automatic renewal for your next annual charge. Your membership will remain active through the end of the yearly subscription that you paid in advance. No refund is issued. However, you may receive a refund if you cancel during the first 30 days of your annual subscription. To do so, please write directly to our Support team at support@lythelp.com. 

Normal Business Practice Notice:

Dressing Your Truth reserves the right to record and analyze customer return behavior at its discretion. Dressing Your Truth Returns reserves the right to inspect returned merchandise and make a fair assessment of condition of returned merchandise and packaging to determine salable condition of goods and refund eligibility.

  • What do I do if an item is missing or damaged?

    Please contact us at support@lythelp.com to report any missing or damaged items. Please include your order number and complete item name(s) and we'd be happy to help you.

  • How do I change my email address?

    Please email support@lythelp.com with your old and new email address and they will update this for you.

  • Can I make a change to my order?

    We are sorry, but we cannot make changes to an order once it has been placed.

  • Will you be restocking Items in your store?

    Sometimes popular items do run out. When we see a lot of demand for a certain item, we do try to stock it again or make it a regularly available product. This depends on availability from manufacturers. If we're not able to restock a makeup item in a specific color, we'll replace it with one that's similar—and always true to your Type. 

  • I received an email that says an item I ordered is out-of-stock. Will I receive the item later?

    We do everything we can to fill your order completely. From time to time, something that was ordered may not be available anymore. If that happens to your order, please accept our apologies. We'll let you know by sending you an e-mail. The unavailable item will be removed from your order and you will not be charged for it. We will ship the rest of your order and send a promotion code for $5 off your next order.

  • Can I use more than one promotion code on my order?

    Smart thinking! But the answer, we’re sorry, is no. Dressing Your Truth Store coupon codes cannot be combined. Our system will only accept the last coupon code entered—so we’d suggest entering the one with the higher discount.

  • I just placed an order yesterday, and now you're offering a coupon. Can I use it on my previous order?

    We’d want to do that, too! But unfortunately, we are unable to retroactively apply coupon codes to orders that have already been placed.

  • My order status says, "pending." What does that mean?

    It does rhyme with “sending,” but “pending” simply means that our system has successfully received your order. Once your order leaves our fulfillment center, we'll email you a tracking number, and your order status will change to “Shipped.”

  • Are your make-up and hair-care products gluten-free?

    Celiac and gluten-sensitive friends rejoice! Yes, our make-up and hair care products are gluten-free. You can view the full ingredients list for each makeup item in the product description.

  • How do I process a return?

    To help us process your return quickly, please follow the instructions under the "Returns" tab in your account. After you contact us with the necessary information, we will email you a Return Authorization form for you to print out and include with your returned item(s). Return packages without an authorization form will not be processed.
